Dance

Adonai Arts Academy dance program has been our backbone for years. Classical ballet is the foundation of our dance program. We prioritize proper technique and terminology. With offerings in pre-ballet through pointe as well as contemporary and acro, our dance classes are for three-year-olds through adults!

We offer group classes on a semester schedule. To view which music classes we offer, please visit our database at The Studio Director.

Once a year, we hold a dance recital. All students at all our locations are given the opportunity to perform with their class for a full house! We love to provide students with the opportunity to show the world how much they’ve learned!

We have several different locations, where we offer dance classes:

East Nashville: Our Davidson County location is Nashville First Church of the Nazarene, in the heart of East Nashville. At this location, we offer classes in ballet, contemporary, and pointe. Email dance.adonaiarts@gmail.com if you have questions or would like to schedule lessons.

Mt. Juliet: One of two Wilson County satellite locations is First Baptist Church in Mt. Juliet, less than a mile from I-40. At this location, we offer various ballet classes. Email dance.adonaiarts@gmail.com if you have questions or would like to schedule lessons.

Lebanon: The other of two Wilson County satellite locations is Lebanon First Baptist Church. At this location, we offer various ballet classes, as well as our new Beginning Acro class. Email dance.adonaiarts@gmail.com if you have questions or would like to schedule lessons.

We partner with KidPOWER, a Nashville afterschool program which empowers at-risk students with tutoring and various enrichment programs. Every week, Adonai Arts Academy offers piano, drums, choir, and dance sessions. Two of our instructors facilitate an introductory dance experience, featuring hip-hop, ballet, and jazz technique.

Our Dance Director is Bailee Teter. Adonai Arts Academy is so excited to welcome Bailee Teter as our new Dance Director as of Summer of 2019! Bailee Teter comes to Adonai Arts Academy with 20+ years of dance experience, many years of Christ-centered ministry, and a degree in Mental Health Counseling. Bailee has studied in places like Lipscomb University, Austin, Texas, and France.
